Corinne J. Dennis, 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 26, 2026. Born on May 1, 1941, in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Robert E. and Dorothy M. (Cope) Hulse.
Her Life
Though born in Ohio, Corinne’s family moved to the Chicago area when she was young. She spent the majority of her life in Illinois, staying close to the family and friends she cherished, before moving to Oregon for her final eight years. She is remembered fondly by all those who shared in her life’s journey.
Family
Corinne was preceded in death by her husband, Norman R. Dennis; her former husband, James A. Lemieux; her three brothers, Robert E., Murlin, and David W. Hulse; and her three sisters, Evelyn Pierce, Dorothy Reed, and Nancy L. Hessinger.
She is survived by:
• Her sons: Paul M. (Christine) Lemieux of Portland, OR, and Andre J. Lemieux (Lori) of Boonville, MO.
• Her stepchildren: Deborah Janssens, Pamela Mitten, Jeffrey Dennis, Jerome Dennis, and Mark Dennis.
• Grandchildren: Numerous beloved grandchildren and extended family members.
Services
In accordance with Corinne’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no memorial service will be held at this time.
