David Rolfe Sharbuno

David was born in Oregon City Jan 19, 1948, and graduated from Milwaukie High School in 1966.

He was a lifelong car enthusiast actively involved in 4 local car clubs--

Mt Hood Mustangs and Fords

Pacific Northwest Convertible Club

Route 26 Cruisers

Ranchero Club

He proudly owned and showed his 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible and 1974 Ford Ranchero as well as his daily driver, a 2005 Mustang Coupe.

David was a regular in the Rose Festival parades where many dignitaries got to ride in his beautiful Mustangs over the years. He always looked forward to the Fred Meyer Junior Parade where he was called upon to donate his time and car to escort important parade figures.

David had a vast knowledge of all things Mustang and Ranchero and served as a ready resource to anyone with questions. He enjoyed working on his cars with friends and attending car shows. He won numerous awards for his cars. In 2019, his 1965 Mustang Convertible was featured in a club display at the Portland Roadster Show and was a Class Winner in that same show.

David is survived by his loving niece and nephew, and those who were fortunate enough to know him. He is in the care of Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Portland, Oregon.

A graveside ceremony for David will be held on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at 11:00am at Skyline Memorial Gardens; 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229.
