David William Smith

David William Smith passed at home, on August 23, 2015. David was born to William and Helen Smith on July 16, 1954.. He attended Maplewood Elementary School and graduated from Wilson High School in 1972. After graduation, David attended Portland Community College.

David moved to Anaheim California and went to work for Disney and then moved back to Portland, where he went to work for Phillips Electronics as an Installer. David eventually became a sales consultant and spent the next 40 years working for Phillips Electronics. When he wasn't working for Phillips, you could find David building his own electronics at home. David love to work and passed his working traits onto his sons. He love doing fun things.

David was a very good, polite, soft spoken person and always a hard worker. David was a very witty person, kind of an unassuming guy.

David was preceded in death by his parents and son Peter Smith. He is survived by his wife Teri Gonzalez of Portland, Oregon, sons, Jon Eric Smith and Alex Smith of Portland, Oregon, sister, Sharon Smith of Milwaukie, Oregon and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
