Denise Christine Lynch

Denise was born on March 25, 1965, in Portland, Oregon, to Nick Manos and Estrella Greenwood. She is survived by her sister, Annette Basilio and her nephew, Adam Basillio.

Denise grew up near Mt. Tabor, where she loved to explore the park as a child and walk the trails as an adult. She attended All Saints Grade School, where she met her lifetime friends, Sally VanTyne, Nellie Malany, and Susan Wilson. Denise graduated from St. Mary's Academy and later moved to San Jose, California. In 1992, Denise married John Lynch, and they were together until 2010.

Throughout her life, Denise held various jobs, but she found her true passion in creating her own business, Tidy Gals, a professional organizing service. Denise took great joy in helping others simplify their lives and create functional, clutter-free spaces, reducing stress and bringing more order to their lives. She loved helping people! Denise was known for her infectious humor, finding laughter in even the most challenging situations. It was her greatest joy to make people laugh.

She was an avid fitness enthusiast, participating in half marathons, mud runs, and completing four marathons. Denise had a deep love for King Cavalier spaniels, especially her two beloved companions, Snoop Dog and Grace Kelly. In her later years, Denise spent time living in Palm Springs, where she met her dearest friend, Joy Fields. The two bonded instantly over their shared life experiences and enjoyed hiking and running races together.

Denise is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved nephew, Joshua Manos. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched through her work and her infectious spirit. Her presence graced our lives with laughter and a whole lot of fun! Denise’s absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her. Rest in peace, Denisa.

A memorial service to celebrate Denise’s life will be held at 3 pm on April 12th, at All Saints Catholic Church in the side chapel, followed by a reception in the Pavilion.
