Dorothy Evelyn North, 89 of Beaverton, Oregon, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2010. She was born on February 26, 1920 in Portland, Oregon. She graduated from Commerce High School. She worked for over 30 years for Pacific Northwest Bell. She married Carmen J. North in November of 1969 in Portland, Oregon and he preceded her in death in 1988. Dorothy was family oriented and enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved gardening and quilting.
She is survived by her sons Michael W. Myers (Ila) of Cosmopolis, Washington and John B. Myers (Lynda) of Beaverton, Oregon; grandchildren Greg Myers, Michelle Brebner, Chris Myers and Lindsey Jonas and great grandchildren Emily Brebner, Lily Brebner, Brandon Jonas and Jacob Jonas.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 2:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd in Portland, Oregon. Private entombment at Lincoln Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the Elsie Stuhr Senior Center in Beaverton, Oregon.
