

Dorothy Mae Pommerville, 96, of Portland, Oregon, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011. She was born on March 8, 1914 in Duluth, Minnesota to the late Elwyn & Bessie Channer. Dorothy was very active in their church until she was unable to get around. She volunteered for Loaves & Fishes and Meals on Wheels and belonged to the churches sewing circle and their seniors group.
She loved to do word finds puzzle books until her eyes got weak.
While her husband Glenn was alive they took trips with their travel trailer, also traveled to the east coast.
She is survived by her Sons, Duane & Lee Pommerville Grandchilden: Vic Pommerville, Dean Pommerville, Carie Lee, & Mike Pommerville, Great Grandchildren: Jeff Pommerville, Venessa Pommerville, Andrea Lee, Chad Lee, Luke Pommerville & Noah Pommerville & Great Great Grandson Zackery Pommerville. She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Pommerville.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 4, 2011 at 12:00 noon, at the Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 12505 NE Halsey Street, Portland, Oregon, followed by a reception at the church. Services will conclude with burial at 3:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 11801 SE Mount Scott Boulevard, Portland, Oregon. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 3rd, from 1:00pm until 5:00pm.
