Edward Jones

John Edward Jones, passed away July 17, 2011 at Legacy Emanuel hospital. Edward was born on September 30, 1923 in Chicago Illinois to John and Jeanne Jones. Edward was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ruth.

Following his graduation from high school, Edward joined the Army Air Force as a fighter pilot with the 56th Fighter Group. After his honorable discharge, Edward moved to California where he took Architecture courses at U.C.L.A. In 1949 Edward married Doreen Williams and to this happy union they had two sons. Edward loved to travel; he and his family moved to Europe, then on to New York where he was assistant business manager with the Cornell Medical University. Other residences include Jacksonville Florida, Atlanta Georgia and New York. In 1969, Edward & family emigrated to Toronto Canada where he was a Freelance Photographer. In the 1970's, Edward moved to Europe and was happily married to Cecilia Freyre for 25 years. Edward met his present wife in Toronto, and after a year in the Philippines they decided to live in Oregon in 2009. Edward had four happy years of marriage with Isabel Requillas.

Edward is survived by his wife Isabel, 2 sons, Paul and Dan Jones both of Canada, a brother William Jones of Vallejo California, 9 grandchildren, Trevor Jones, Tanya Jones, Alan Davis, Douglas Davis, Cheri Davis, Nicholas Jones, Steven Jones, Greg Rusnell and Ben Rusnell, 10 great-grandchildren, Deen Yenkana, Parker Davis, Weston Davis, Taylor Davis, Pearl Katherine Rasco, Wince Richmond, Anderson Rusnell, Rebecca Rusnell, Vanessa Rusnell and Aaron Princesa.

The family will have a Private Memorial.
