Elaine Jean Bader, 82, of Milwaukie, Oregon, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2013 at home. Born October 11, 1930 in Portland, she was the daughter of the late Frank W. and Lena (Hubbs) Davis. She graduated from Franklin High School in 1948. A few years later, she met her future husband, Fredrick Bader, and they were married on February 17, 1952 in Portland.
Elaine enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, and gardening, and for many years, she and Fredrick took annual trips to Reno. But, out of all her passions, her love for her family was the greatest; especially her grandchildren, whom she cherished more than anything in the world. She leaves behind to honor her legacy: daughter Jo Ann Lelack; son Jerry Bader; her beloved grandchildren: Eric, Amanda, Carlie, Megan, and Roman; her great grandson Logan; and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 1:00pm at Wichita Avenue Evangelical Church, 9491 SE Wichita Ave, Milwaukie, OR 97222.
