Elizabeth Louise Stanko

Lizzy was born in Portland Oregon to her parents, Bruce and Denise Stanko. She lived her entire life in Portland Oregon, as she wanted to remain close to her family.

In 2015, Lizzy lost both of her parents within the span of 6 weeks. Despite the devastating circumstances, she remained hard working and determined to make a life for herself. She went to school to become a Certified Nursing Assistant, a job that she would cherish for the next 10 years of her life. Through her job, she found her passion for taking care of others as well as met several friends who she considered family.

When Lizzy was not at work, her biggest joy in life was being an Aunt to her nephew, Henry. She cherished every second she had with him by taking photos of him and smothering him with love. She was so proud of the fact that she could be an aunt to not only him, but also every child she came across. She made sure that all children had a safe place with her to feel loved and supported.

Elizabeth Louise Stanko will be missed by all of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Denice Stanko. She is survived by her sister, Katie, her nephew, Henry, and all of her loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
