Estera Moldovan, age 56, of Portland, Oregon passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at Legacy Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Cluj, Romania on November 28th, 1966 to Aurel and Susana Somlea. She was married to Alexandru Moldovan in 1987 and they moved to the United States in 1995 with their two oldest children, Paul and Raluca. Their third child, Ady, joined the family in 1997. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Estera was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
Estera was preceded in death by her parents, Aurel and Susana Somlea and older brother, Aurel Somlea.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alexandru; her three children, Paul, Raluca (and husband Chris Rusnak), and Ady; her first grandson, Gus; and five siblings, Lina, Susi, Ion, Aurelia, and Cornel.
