Fai Lui was born in Taishan, China and went on to spend some time in Hong Kong and eventually the United States.

He attended primary school and later spent time working as a cook; something he also enjoyed doing as a hobby.

He will be remembered as a good father, husband, and grandpa, and will be missed by those who knew him.
