Originally from Oregon, she had lived in Beaumont, Texas, for the past few years near her son and his family.
Florence was married to her beloved Otto for 47 years. He preceded her in death. Florence is survived by her son, Michael, and his wife, Darlene Coleman; four grandsons, Jeffrey, Chris and his wife Angie, Benjamin, and Jason and his wife Andria Coleman and one granddaughter, Bonnie and her husband, Rob Tortorice.
She was blessed to be the great-grandmother of seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was on Jan. 11, 2011, at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church in Beaumont.
Graveside services were at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland.
