

Florencia Cacayan Rombaoa, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, at the age of 85 in her Portland, Oregon home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on January 7, 1939 in Tayug, Pangasinan, Philippines, to Lorenzo and Magdalena Cacayan. She married the love of her life, Hermoso R. Rombaoa Sr., on May 14, 1956. Together they built a life in Bagnos, Alicia, Isabela, where they raised nine children. In 1997, the family moved to Portland, Oregon, where Florencia worked at Old Country Buffet as a food service worker until her retirement. She remained the cornerstone of hr family, always ready to support her children, grandchildren, and extended family. A devoted member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo church, her faith and generosity touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Hermoso R. Rombaoa Sr., in 2003 and by her eldest son, Maximo Rombaoa, in 1960. Florencia's legacy of kindness, warmth, and unwavering support lives on in her children Felipa, Wilma, Hermoso Jr., Erlinda, Urduja, Hermelyn, Florence, and Vivica, as well as her nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Florencia's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and faith. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
