Gay Melodie Ruby, better know to her friends and family as Gayle Swanson, was born on July 12, 1958 in Portland, Oregon. She passed peacefully on December 6, 2022 at her home in Portland. She is survived by her partner Fred Swanson, her daughter Victoria Allen (Jack), her son Jeremy Swanson, and both of her sisters. Her parents and brother preceded her in death. She was a proud grandmother of six, and a friend to countless many.
The family asks that remembrances be made to Providence Hospice, or to the American Cancer Society.
