

Geoffrey Lee Christianson was born on September 13th 1941. He grew up in Portland; he attended Alameda grade school and Parkrose High School. He loved his country and was proud to have served it as a Marine. He was fortunate enough to travel while a Marine and one of his favorite places was Japan, he really loved that place.
Jeff has a beautiful wife of 29 amazing years Andi, three wonderful daughters, Tracie, Trisha and Allison. He inherited two Stepsons Steven and Tommy. He has 5 grandchildren Brian Junior, Amy, Nikki, Tyler and Robin. He has 6 great grandchildren Alexie, Tessa, Kaylee, Baby Nate, Raynen and Ryan.
He Loved his family very much, He was so proud of his grandchildren and great grandchildren. The first thing he did every morning was check Facebook to see if Jenna posted new daily pictures of Lexie. He was proud of BJ for being such a good father and provider.
Jeff and Andi loved going to the beach together. They bought a place at Rockaway and enjoyed it for 15 years. He made many friends there. He loved to go fishing and crabbing, BBQ’in and camping.
He loved his two puppies Chato and Suki. He enjoyed flowers and working in the yard planting things in his garden.
He worked at Rose Auto Wrecking for many years. He was ahead of his time in that industry. He was one of the first to incorporate a computer system for all of the parts. He made the showroom women and kid friendly. He added couches and coffee tables, magazines and coloring books and crayons for the little ones.
He rediscovered flying Ucontrol planes. He started building them again and joined the Portland Fireball club. Jeff and all his buddies would go to Delta Park and fly their planes and get lost in the moment. Jeff was a really patient man and taught some of the guys how fly them properly with the correct patterns.
He loved trains and built a big train track and little city in the basement. He spent hours down there playing with his trains and he would sometimes have his buddies over and they would bring their own trains and play for hours like a couple of kids.
He was great handyman, and awesome neighbor. He was known as the Mayor of 54th street always taking the time to mow a neighbor’s lawn or fix a kids bike or offer advice or even just a warm smile.
While taking care of Andi at her Chemo appointments he was the official greeter of Kaiser Oncology. That was his place. He would calm the new patients letting them know it’s going to be alright.
He was a wonderful father, warm and caring husband. Always kept his word and followed through on everything. He was very patriotic and really loved this country and his red, white and blue. You could hear Geoffrey telling people to smile because frowning causes wrinkles.
You will be missed.
