I will never forget you Auntie Ida!  Really enjoyed the long phone calls we did years ago!  I appreciate how friendly you we’re taking time just to chat!  You’ll never be forgotten!

Where do I start... Aunt Ida wasn't just an aunt to me, she was like a second mother to me. She taught me how to sew clothes, I lived with her for a short time, and I traveled with she and my uncle when they would visit Arkansas. I also traveled and stayed with she and my Uncle Mack while attending the COGIC National Convocation in Memphis Tennessee. She would always slip me a little piece of money, and remind of different ways to make things instead of buying them. I hold the memories of her reminding me to stay with Jesus, live a saved life, and trust God. She will be missed, but her memories will stay in my heart. Love, Stacy and Family

Aunt Ida will be greatly missed! I'm glad to know that she is finally at peace and laying in the arms of Jesus.

Growing up at the Walker Temple church. Brings back so many great memories. I remember how much love and joy my God Mother/ First Lady Walker gave to me and my family. I'm praying for the Walker family🙏🏽


My dear Aunt Ida, was so sweet and unique! A precious Woman of God. I would always be excited for her and my uncle to visit Arkansas. The love shared between she and my uncle was so very precious. I will never forget her.

I am forever grateful that I met Ida in my young days, age 21.  She imparted to me  many suggestions and helps that  made domestic chores,  and motherhood less demanding.  She totally devoted her life and care to the lives of her husband and children.  She delighted in his sports (i.e. fishing & hunting) because she loved everything about him and he did her.  I don't know of another couple that represented such commitment to each other.  She has earned her wings.  Blessings  & prayers upon Pastor ML Walker, Sr. and family  .

To Pastor Mack Walker & family - My family and I offer you our continued support and prayers during this time of Transition. Missionary Walker was a jewel and a real encourager. From the time I left for college to a few years following, we wrote letters to each other. Since my adolescence, I could count on her sense of humor and love. God bless you all.
