On February 5th, 2025 Janice at the age of 86 left this earth to be with the love of her life William Ray Morgan. Janice and Bill were married on January 19, 1956.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband William Ray in 2022, her parents Niel and Illa Mae Peterson, and siblings Donald Peterson, Marlene Bump, Bobetta Amundson, and great-grandson Ziggy Gruetter.
Janice and Bill had four children and is survived by their son William Scott, daughters Sue Ellen (Ron) and Annette Marlene (James), and son Dennis Niel (Lisa), and Eleven grandchildren Shauna, Billie Jo, William Andrew, Kayla, Bryce, Levi, Justin, Robert, Christel, Niel, and Jessica. She also leaves 22 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A viewing for Janice will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the chapel at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow from 11:45 AM to 12:45 PM, with a reception starting at 1:00 PM.
A graveside service will take place on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Skyline Memorial Gardens, located at 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, OR 97229, for those who wish to attend.
