Joseph Ward Endicott Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 79 while surround by his loving family. He was born on September 7, 1944, at the Wilcox Memorial Annex of the Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon, to Joseph Ward Endicott Sr. and Ilmi Serafeia Neimi (Endicott).

Raised in Portland, Joe attended Portland public schools and graduated from David Douglas High School. He furthered his education at the Wolf Creek Job Corps Center in Glide, Oregon, graduating on June 13, 1966.

On June 17, 1972, Joe married the love of his life, Peggy Lee Crandell, in Multnomah County, Oregon. Their union was blessed with two daughters, Tammy E Duran and Kimberly M Martinez.

Joe dedicated over three decades of his life to his career as a die caster, contributing his skills and expertise to companies such as Williams Controls, Western Overhead Doors, and P.E.C.O.

His commitment to his faith was evident through his baptism at Calvary Lutheran Church and confirmation at St. James Lutheran Church, both in Portland, Oregon. Joe was also one of the two original founding members of the Blue Knights motorcycle club, showcasing his love for adventure and camaraderie.

In his leisure time, Joe enjoyed fishing, drawing, and camping, cherishing the simple joys of life with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a caring and generous man who always extended a helping hand to those in need.

Joe leaves behind his devoted wife, Peggy L Endicott; daughters Tammy E Duran (Keith) and Kimberly M Martinez (Angel); grandchildren Salvador (Yanira), Alex (Karolyn), Marco (Debbie), Angel (Vanessa), and Alicia (Hunter); and great-grandchildren, along with numerous relatives and friends.

His legacy of love, kindness, and devotion to family and community will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, June 14, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.
