

Joyce Ann Rayborn, a longtime Portland resident, passed away on the 16th of January 2026 in Surprise Arizona. Joyce was born on the 23rd September 1937 in Baker City OR, the daughter of Burley and Inez Walker both deceased.
Joyce grew up with her younger sister Roberta who passed away in 2021.
As a child Joyce loved camping with her family. Her mother taught her to be a talented cook. She attended and graduated from Triangle Lake High School.
She met and Married Bruce Rayborn in Baker City OR who was a Portland police officer.
Joyce was a devout Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities including Relief Society and Primary President. Joyce loved road trips with her kids and grandkids.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Burley and Inez Walker, her sister Roberta, her granddaughter Ainsley Rayborn and her great granddaughter Torrance Milam.
She is survived by her children, Deborah (Michael) Milam, Steven Rayborn, Michael (Aimee) Rayborn, and Dawn (Dean) Krough. Her grandchildren Evrhet (Jaicy) Milam, Noah (Emily) Milam, Adelaide (Hector) Olguin, Alondra (Christian) Johnson, Sierra Milam, Rebekkah (Justin) Shutt, Hayden Rayborn, Matt Rayborn and Dannika Krough. Her great grandchildren Colette, Aubrey, Maverick, Rockwell, Max, Amelia, Mabel and Dean Milam, Darian, Nolan and Leo Olguin, Silas, Lake, Denmark and Prescott Johnson, Norah, Walker and Wyatt Shutt.
Joyce’s funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Farmington Ward Building, 5175 S.W. 209th Avenue Aloha Oregon 97007 oat 11 a.m., Friday, January 30th 2026.
