Judy was born October 9, 1951 to Robert and Muriel Lynn. She attended Woodstock grade school and graduated from Franklin High School in 1969. Soon after graduation, Judy began a long and successful career as an escrow officer and manager at Transamerica Title Company. In 1983, she went on to work for First American Title Co., from which she retired in early 2014. Judy was an active member of society. Known as a tireless worker in her both her personal and professional life, she devoted her time to uplifting the spirit of everyone she came into contact with.
Judy was John’s loudest cheerleader, life partner, and best friend. She found excitement in his entrepreneurial endeavors and dedicated much of her time to supporting his dreams. She adored her nieces and nephews and never let the first day of school or a birthday go by without picking up the phone to congratulate them or sing them ‘Happy Birthday.’ Judy was loved and cared for by many – a life deserving of someone who lived selflessly and passionately.
Judy is survived by her loving and loyal husband Johnnie; mother: Muriel Lynn; brother: Bob Lynn; brother: Mark Lynn and wife Rita; sister: Dianne Neffendorf and husband Dale; cousins: Janice Dolan and Colleen McGough; and 15 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Lynn, in 2000.
A memorial service to celebrate Judy’s life will be held at noon on Monday, May 11th, at Lincoln Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland OR, 97086. A reception will immediately follow at Rock Creek Community Hall, 13301 SE 172nd Ave, Happy Valley, OR 97086 (Off Sunnyside Rd.). In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Judy’s favorite charity, the Ronald McDonald House, and continue her legacy of improving the lives of others.
