

Judy Rosen 1940–2008 - Judy was born in Portland, on Feb. 20, 1940, and passed away peacefully with her husband and children by her side on Feb. 8, 2008. Judy grew up in Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School. In1961 she married Bruce W. Kukuk; he died in 1966. They had three children, Tein Marie, David William and Bruce William II. As a single mother she raised her family with loving devotion in the Parkrose area. Judy married Larry W. Rosen in 1982. Together they remained in the Parkrose area with their extended families. Larry and Judy enjoyed snowbirding in their RV and traveling around the country to visit grandchildren. Her grandchildren were an integral part of her life. As a caring wife and devoted mother she was without equal. It was obvious her faith in God and family were her strength. Judy had a soft spot in her heart for all animals. Many a time she would stop her car to help a stray animal in need. She also enjoyed palm trees, spending time at the beach, golf and cooking. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce W. Kukuk. She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Tein Marie and husband, Wayne of Portland; sons, David W. Kukuk and wife, Beth of Mission Viejo, Calif., Bruce W. Kukuk II and wife, Terra of Mission Viejo, Calif.; stepsons, Paul Rosen and wife, Kim of Vancouver; Lee Rosen of Salem; Thom Rosen of Boulder, Colo.; Greg Rosen and wife, Kim of Sandy; 13 grandchildren; and many, many friends.
April 1, 2008 - Mom, I miss you so much. I think of you every day. Today, I am remembering the wonderful childhood that you gave me. I wish I could give you a HUG! I love you Mom, Dave
