Shortly after graduating, Kathleen met the love of her life, Robert “Bob”, on a blind date on in July of 66. It was Bob’s last week of leave, before he left, he told Kathleen he was going to marry her. Finally, on June 30, 1967 that day came. Together, they shared a beautiful 57 years. Kathleen was the caretaker of the family, taking care of her parents in their sunset years and her grandchildren. In addition to being a homemaker, she was also the head housekeeper for Shilos Inns.
Kathleen is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Thompson; her brother, John Shiprack; her children, Michael Thompson, and Heather Allen; and her grandchildren, Savannah Thompson, Tristan Allen, Hunter Thompson, and Isabella Allen.
Kathleen was a resident of Newberg, Oregon. Her life was marked by her dedication to family and her role as a cherished caretaker.
