Kenneth Clifford McCUEN

May 4, 1942 ~ September 13, 2018

KC was born to Trevie and Daisy McCuen in Portland, Oregon on May 4, 1942. He grew up on Mt. Tabor with his brother Dennis, often helping his mom and dad in the family business, Mt. Tabor Cleaners. After graduating Washington High School, KC went on to serve his country in the United States Marine Corp. KC meet the love of his life , Kathy, in 1972 and they wed on March 25, 1973. Kenneth was a loving husband to Kathy and father to 3 sons. Kelly, Chris and Tony.

KC and Kathy ran the Mt Tabor Cleaners for 35 years and retired in 2011 . The Elks Lodge was always his home away from home, becoming Exalted Ruler in ‘80-’81 and District Deputy ‘98-99 of Gateway Elks Lodge #2411. Outside of the Elks lodge, KC had a huge thirst for computer technology.

KC will be remembered as a big, sweet man , with a sweet smile and always ready to help others. He loved his family dearly and cherished his grandkids. KC is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Kathy, son Kelly (Courtney) , son Chris, son Tony (Sheryl) , brother Dennis. Grandchildren Devyn, Delany, Ian and Keira.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Noon, at the Gateway Elks Lodge , 16321 SE Stark, Portland.

KC is cared for by Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services-Gateway.
