Born July 21, 1983, Lee was a sixth generation Portlander. He attended Bridlemile Elementary School, Woodmont Middle School, Thomas Edison High School, and Portland Community College.
Lee was a genuine, sweet, easy going, and loving man - always smiling and incredibly generous. We will remember him for his kindness, sense of humor, huge warm hugs, soothing shoulder massages, and the joy he took in family and friendships. He accepted all people, made no judgements, and was always there to listen. He was passionate about dining out and all food (except seafood). He loved gaming, word searches, professional wrestling, college football, soccer, cheesy movies, pets, and hanging out with friends and family. He relished his birthday with his twin sister, Laura, and made sure to ask for the day off every year to celebrate. He was a lefty and dubbed the "fun uncle" by his nieces and nephews.
Lee was prompt and hard working. Beginning as the mouse at Chuck E Cheese, he held a variety of jobs over the course of his life. He was particularly proud of his work in the security field and being honored recently as "employee of the month." At the time of his death, he was a security guard officer and scheduler for the Nike campus.
Lee is survived by his parents, Todd and Dorothy Grasle; brother, Todd Jr; twin sister, Laura Grasle (Keith); sister, Annie Bertram (JP); second mother-aunt, Susan Hart; and numerous cherished nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family was the most important thing in Lee's life. While the reality of our physical relationship with Lee has changed, our love and closeness with him will remain forever. Lee made our world a better place. His memory lives on in our hearts and minds.
A private, family celebration of Lee's life will be held.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.finleysunsethills.com for the Grasle family.
