

Lin Yuk Lee, born Tam Yuk Lin on August 25, 1934 in Canton, China married Chan Yan Lee also of Canton in 1949. In 1963, Lin came to the United States to live in Pendleton, OR with her husband, four young children with another on the way. Two years later Chan, Lin and their five children moved to Portland, OR. Lin was homemaker, wife and mother raising her 6 children; she loved to sew, knit, cook, shop and see her children full and happy. Lin would sew and knit many of her own clothes in addition to sweaters and scarves for her family. Cooking was part of Lin's daily routine, she took pride in what she could do with the bounty she was given. On shopping expeditions, in addition to finding fabric and yarn Lin collected many treasures which included birds such as roosters, owls and cardinals. Most of all Lin loved her family and made any excuse for the family to get together for a meal.
Lin is survived by her 3 Sons, Gordon of Alameda California, Tony and Lawrence of Portland, Oregon, her 3 daughters, Pearl, Rose and Janet also of Portland, Oregon and 10 grandchildren.
