Marcel was best known for his warm spirit, love of his family and being great with his hands. Marcel was so accomplished at wood-working that he was able to build a working grandfather clock. He could also grow a beautiful garden and make a wonderful meal.
Unfortunately, his love of fishing, animals, clam digging and his talents in many areas never crossed over to his Pinochle skills, which remained as a lesser accomplishment.
Marcel bravely served his country in the South Pacific during WWII and went on to be a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion at post #0144 and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet Staab who passed in 2013. He is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
