Margaret was born in Brooklyn, New York to John Kennedy and Alice Wright Kennedy, both deceased. She was the last of seven siblings. She graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Portland, where she lived most of her life. Margaret was married to Ralph V. Hathaway for 47 years. She was a homemaker who raised three wonderful children.
She is survived by son Ralph Hathaway and daughter Kathryn Webb. Additionally, Margaret had four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Margaret is also survived by her beloved Bichon, Peppy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2000, as well as son Edward Raymond in 1992.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2016. Committal at Willamette Memorial Cemetery following.
Margaret said, “As for me, it’s the wonderful hours spent together, the tender moments, the laughter the tears, and the love!”
