

Marino (Mar) Kintaro, passed away on December 8, 2021. He was born on the tropical Pacific Islands of Koror Palau on December 19, 1952 to Kintaro Beluong and Katrina Meltel. Mar graduated from Marianna’s High School in Saipan in 1972 and also graduated from University of Guam in Mangilao, Guam with a BS Degree in History and Political Science. He was married to Claudette “Maria” Kintaro (Elilai Gal) In Guam on January 1977.
Mar is survived by his wife Maria and his son Reno F. Kintaro, daughter Eve Ramirez, grandson Ezekiel Kintaro Ramirez, and son-in-law Enrique Ramirez. He is predeceased by siblings: Maria Kintaro, Marianne Kintaro, Marcella Kintaro and his surviving siblings are Christina Kintaro Collier and Martina Kintaro. He has many numerous nieces and nephews and cousins that loved, respected and honored their Uncle and cousin very much. Also, many lifetime close friends that Mar spoke of fondly.
Mar became a born-again Christian in the early 1980’s and worked for Christ from that day on. Establishing the Jesus Is Alive Ministry and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ and lead many souls to Christ. He was such a creative and talented gifted man. An artist, a musician, and writer - he has written over 200 Christian songs that can be heard on You Tube—-and has had 3-books published: Jesus Opened My Eyes, His Kingdom, Sailing With Jesus.
His legacy will be forever be known as an artist, composer, singer-musician and writer; and most of all a devout follower of Jesus Christ, his primary concern was that all would be saved! All who knew him can say that he absolutely walked the talk with each breathing day of his life!
A viewing and a Celebration of Mar’s Life was held on December 16, 2021 from 11:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m at Advantage Funeral Services in Portland, Oregon with live streaming for those family and friends all over the world. Burial was at Lincoln Memorial in Portland, Oregon.
