Marion left her home in Baton Rouge during WWII for the great adventure of working at the Dept. of Agriculture in Washington, DC. She met her future husband Eldon there as he was preparing to go to war in Europe. They had 3 days together, & decided to get married if he made it back. After the war, they hitchhiked to Oregon to marry and start a family, which included sons David & Clifford. She worked 22yrs. in the insurance agency they owned.
She loved her family, church, and friends, and she was loved by all she touched. She leaves behind her sons, 4 grandchildren, & 6 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Valley View Evangelical Church in Clackamas, Oregon. Burial will be private.
