Michael Roy Streimer age 70 of Sherwood , Oregon passed away on Friday,February 8,2013,due to a heart attack. He was born in Portland Oregon on June4, 1942,son of Dan and Betty Streimer. He attended Oregon State University for 3 years where he met Linda Mae Madsen whom he married on December 18, 1963. Mike spent his working career at the family-owned business,Streimer Sheet Metal, Inc. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer for 16 years before his retirement in 1998.For the past several years Mike has enjoyed racing his Corvette at the Utah Salt Flats and tending to his farm. He is survived by his brother, Fred Streimer;his two daughters,Carrie McClanahan and Brenda Fast;grandchildren;Zack Fast, Nick Mollie and Jessica McClanahan and extended family. A Memorial service will be held Friday, February 15,2013 at Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the American Cancer society or American heart Association.
