

Nancy Ann Pritchard passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 5, surrounded by family. She was born on December 13, 1941, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Harry and Harriet Jones. She graduated from Columbia High School in Richland, Washington in 1960. She married Gerald E. Larsen in 1961; they had two daughters, Anne-Marie and Cynthia (Cindy). They moved to Seaside and then Salem before settling in the Portland area, including Hillsboro and Hood River. Nancy worked at Salem Hospital, for several doctors, hospitals, and insurance companies in Portland, Hillsboro and Hood River, and as Certified Medical Staff Coordinator for various hospitals in Portland. Her gifts of organization, reliability, accuracy, good humor and interpersonal skills were valued by each of her employers. In 1997, Nancy married Gordon Pritchard. They shared twenty loving years, a relationship that brought them immense joy. Nancy was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry, and her daughter, Anne-Marie. She is survived by her husband, Gordon Pritchard, daughter Cindy Larsen of Portland, step-son Scott Pritchard (Angela) and grandson TJ of The Dalles, and brother Ken Jones of Richland, WA, and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 28, at 1 p.m. at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Portland. After internment at Lincoln Memorial, a reception will be held at the church. Viewing will be at Ross Hollywood Chapel at 11 a.m., Monday, October 16. Donations may be made to the Oregon Humane Society.
