

Nikhil was a graduate of Westview High School, where he played soccer and was a bright, talented student. Nikhil showed his love and affection for animals by adopting and caring for his pet cats, Rocky, Snowy, Jibby, and Sheba. Nikhil also very much enjoyed playing basketball, spending time with friends and family, dining at Benihana, and sharing witty jokes and a good laugh. Nikhil always expressed his affection and gratitude towards those he cared about. His genuine personality and kind heart will never be forgotten. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones.
He is survived by his parents, Manisha Jain and Rajiv (Shalini) Jain; his brother, Neel; his grandmothers, Suhasini Mujumdar and Krishna Jain; aunts and uncles, Sangeeta Jain and Rajiv Garg, Mamta Mujumdar-Olkowski and David Olkowski, and Namrata Mujumdar-Hendrickson and Patrick Hendrickson; cousins Priya, Sonali (Brian), Sonya, and Meera, Ethan, Charlotte, Henry, and Olivia, and Miles. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Anand Mujumdar and Kesri Jain.
The family plans to have a private funeral on May 6, 2026. Memorial contributions in Nikhil’s name may be made to the Oregon Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Care and arrangements are entrusted to Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary & Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Portland, Oregon.
