

Pat was born Patricia Ann Murie in Billings, Montana. She died peacefully at home after a long illness. She was the third child and the last survivor of six children born to Allen and Julia Murie. The family moved from Montana to Rainier, Oregon in the 1940s in search of work.
Pat attended Franklin High School before she married Robert Hallberg in 1953, they had three children. She worked for Omark Industries from 1962 until retiring in 1995. She met John D. “Jack” Adams while working at Omark. They married in 1966. Jack passed away in March 2004. In retirement, Pat worked as a volunteer for The Volunteer Connection in Clackamas County.
Pat had many gifts and shared generously with those she loved. Among them a devotion to family and friends and quick wit that remained with her to the end. She had a tender heart and deep caring for people backed by occasional willfulness, all Murie family traits. She enjoyed get-togethers with family and friends and occasional trips to Reno and the Oregon coast.
Survivors include daughters Cherie Boyd of Milwaukie, OR and Daralee Davis (Steve) of Bay Point, CA; son Michael Hallberg also of Milwaukie; six grandchildren, Joe, John, and David Cardwell, Angie Blackmon, Rebecca Davis, and Dawn Kennedy, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 9:00 AM Saturday, February 18 at Lincoln Memorial Park, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Boulevard, Portland, OR, followed by a graveside service.
We will be gathering at the house around 11- 11:30 am to celebrate her life. Hope you can all make it we, Cherie, Daralee and Michael would love to hear your memories and share ours with you.
