Patricia Ann Bentley "Patty" died peacefully on February 17, 2026. Patty was an artist known for her colorful paintings and quilts. She was born i8n Cincinnati, OH and was a flight attendant living in Boston when she met John Bentley. They married and moved to Portland, OR., his hometown. They celebrated 66 years together before John's death in 2022.
They enjoyed a wide circle of friends, raised three children, Emily (Charles Anderson), John (Sonya Bentley), and Sally (John Benson). She adored and was adored by her six grandchildren: Isabel and Owen Anderson, Sophie and Quinn Benson, and Max and Peter Bentley.
A memorial will be held at The Town Club, 2115 SW Salmon St on May 2, 2026 at 6:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please dentate to Cincinnati Nature Preserve Center, or The Feral Cat Foundation, or The Oregon Humane Society, Or The Wolf Conservation Center.
