Patrick Joseph Arias was born to parents Julia Arias and Gregorio Olivarreas in Douglas Arizona on July 5, 1954. He graduated from Douglas High School and as a teenager, moved to Portland, where he made his life and found his home.
He had many jobs through the years, working in catering, telecommunications, an aluminum plant and most recently for the Portland Public Schools as a custodian. He is also a recent graduate of Mt Hood Community College receiving his degree in Sustainability.
Patrick loved the outdoors. From boating to snow and water skiing, he loved nature and nature loved him. He also loved and appreciated photography, taking him on many adventures that would tell his stories through his photos. He also enjoyed Nascar racing.
He was a hard worker, very loving, extremely caring and a loyal friend. In fact, he found a friend in everyone.
Patrick is preceded in death by his mother Juila and his brother Armando C. Arias Jr. He is survived by his sisters; Juanita R. Godwin and Kathleen A. Hernandez and his brother Michael P. Arias, his son Trevor A. Arias, 2 grandchildren and his best friend Anson Bolinger.
