

Son of Henry L. & Peggy Pittock. Great Grandson of Henry L & Georgiana Pittock. Survived by his brother Henry L. Pittock III & sister Pamela Pittock, niece Suzy Perkins, nephews Douglas Berger, Henry Pittock IV, Adam Grimes, Christopher Perkins, and many cousins. Preceded in death by his parents and sister Diane Pittock Perkins.
Graduate of Ainsworth Elementary, Lincoln High School, and Oregon State University.
Military Service: 1967-1969, US Army. Sergeant MP, stationed Long Binh, Vietnam. Ft. Gordon GA (1967), Ft Dix NJ (1968). Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal.
1968: Entered a Sherman M-60 tank to race in Rose Cup Races (Portland, OR), "indirectly a heavy favorite".
1969: Driver for the Portland Rose Festival Princesses.
1971 - 2000: Fingerprint Technician for the Portland Police Bureau. Retired after 29 years. He always felt that he was being paid to solve puzzles.
Contestant on the Wheel of Fortune TV show.
Hiked Alaska's Chilkoot Trail (33 miles in length) with sister Diane.
Walked the Sydney Harbor Bridge walk in Sydney, Australia.
Rode a camel in Egypt.
World traveler to play golf. Played over 550 courses around the world. Scotland had his most favorite golf courses. Played every golf course in Oregon.
Avid bowler, golfer, and reader. A collector of books, pottery, rocks, and fossils.
Twice bowled a 299. Also bowled 764 (total of 3 games) with house ball and rented shoes in Munich, Germany on 19th birthday.
Unfortunately never made the perfect 300 game.
Always did crossword puzzles in ink. Mastered Sudoku.
Former member of Cascade Sports Car Club, Tualatin GC, Reserve GC, OGA, and USGA.
OGA golf rules officiant for many years. Received the 2011 OGA award for Volunteer of the Year and a Distinguished Service Award in 2016.
