Ping Sun

Ping Sun, mother to Lily and Cindy, passed away early Friday morning, August 22, 2025, after a bravely fought battle with metastatic lung cancer. Even as Ping’s health was declining, she never once complained and offered complete glory, honor, and thanks to God. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Clackamas, with friends and family by her side, singing hymns, reading scripture, and praying with her.

Known for her God-given spirit of peace, kindness, selflessness, and service, Ping will be dearly missed by all (humans and dogs alike) who knew her.

She is survived by her brother, Ming, and her two daughters and their families — Lily (Khoi) and Cindy (Basi), as well as one granddaughter and one grand-dog.

Please join us as we gather to celebrate the life of Ping Sun, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

We will share stories, photos, and memories that reflect the joy and love she brought into all of our lives. This will be a time of remembrance, fellowship, and thanksgiving for the gift of her life.

We hope you can join us in honoring her memory and celebrating the legacy of love she leaves with us all.

Light refreshments will be served following the service.
