

Pyong Chal An, born on September 15, 1959, in Seoul, Korea, passed away on June 25, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. Known for his kind, funny, and silly nature, Pyong was a loving father, brother, and friend who brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Pyong attended Sung Nam High School in Korea, where he graduated before embarking on a career as a casino dealer in Las Vegas. He was a friendly face to everyone he met, but he really valued the friends he made along the way.
In February 1988, Pyong married Jae Soon An in Seoul. Together, they nurtured a family, including their daughter, Yuri An, and son, Harry An, who remember him as a pillar of strength and love.
Pyong's passion for the outdoors was evident in his love for fishing, hiking, and swimming. These activities not only reflected his adventurous spirit but also his deep appreciation for nature's beauty.
He leaves behind a loving family: children, Yuri and Harry An; siblings, Pyong Sun, Pyong Ja, Pyong Kuk, Pyong Duk, Pyong Nam, and Pyong Il; and wife, Jae Soon An.
Pyong's legacy of warmth, humor, and kindness will forever be cherished and remembered by those who loved him.
