Raymond Lovelett

Ray was born on November 29, 1916 in Northport, Washington to parents Agnes and Oscar Lovelett. He was raised primarily in Willamina, Oregon but also lived in Hillsboro before settling in Portland.

He married the love of his life, Nina A Miley on March 28, 1938 at the courthouse in Vancouver, Washington. They had two daughters Carol and Nancy and primarily resided at the family residence in Portland on 63rd street for over 40 years.

Ray worked for Chevron and retired from the company in 1978. Ray's retirement was filled with his favorite activities which included fishing, camping hunting, tinkering in his garage where he had a large assortment of handmade tools and projects, and taking long drives in the countrysides of Oregon. Even a week before the death, Ray was still driving himself and Nina about town.

Ray is predeceased by his parents, and a daughter Carol N. Hawkins. He leaves to cherish his memory; his wife of over 70 years Nina Lovelett, a daughter Nancy R. Foote, grandchildren: Jeff Davis, Renee Foushee, Pam Davis, Aileen Van Hovel, Wayne Foote and Juliane Foote, nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Ray will be dearly missed.
