The nicest guy in town. He could turn water into wine. Bob and Gene, could fix anything and I would drive it anywhere fully confident. I will always want to go, "To Sloans".

Shirley & Lori, We are so sad to hear of Bob's passing, but fondly remember the many years our families spent together. New Year's eve parties, Thanksgiving dinners, Freightliner picnics, boating and many more.  I'm sure Bob and Dad will meet up again and organize some good parties.  Doloris, Susan and Diane (Maxson).

I've known Bob since I was 10 years old. He was a man I respected like he was my own father. He had a talent  and vision when it came to cars and trucks that was simply amazing. Anyone that has been through the shop over the years has seen the fruits of his labor of love. He is a man loved by all of thos e who met him and he will be sorely missed.

Only met Bob once and it was a great time. He gave my friends and I a tour of his shop and showed us some of his current projects. The man was a master at restoring automobiles. I really admired the 57 retractable hardtop ford he was about finished with. Bob gave us a tour of his bus and what an incredible job he had done on that old beauty. He fired it up and it purrwd like a lion. I`m positive he will be sorely missed by friends as well as his loved ones.

Thank you Bob for being such a great example for us. You and Shirley have always been so kind and welcoming to all.

Sloan Family, so very sorry about the passing of Bob.  He was such a nice man with a welcome smile and always willing to talk about trucks---especially Freightliners.  Bob was a good husband, father and friend.  He will be missed.

Reading Bob's obituary, one would think that he was a pretty, plain regular guy.  He was anything but that...Bob was a man with some great vision and artistic talent.  Not the type of artistic talent that we typically look at.  Bob had the artistic talent to take an automobile and make it sing, make it stand out from other automobiles.  He was an innovator.  He could take a Cadillac and combine it with a Mercedes.  He could take an old bus and turn it into a beautiful motor home.  He would never cease to amaze his family, friends and colleagues with his restorations of classic cars such as his Rileys.  With all of that talent, Bob was one of the humblest guys that I knew.  I thank my stars everyday that I am a member of the Sloan family.  We will miss you, Bob.....

We are so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. We had lost contact with Bob & Shirley over the years but never forgot about them. Bob was a good person with a huge following of friends. We have a lot fond memories of the Sloan family.  God Bless you all.

What a great guy! So very talented, always enjoyed his awesome creations. Bob had a great imagination and a wealth of talent,and was able to take some of the most unlikely combinations and create something beautiful.Always enjoyed having lunch with friends at the tavern and wandering next door to see what was "in the works".Bob,you will be very much missed.See you later in hotrod heaven.
