

She was the third of five children. She remained in Austin until she moved to Los Angeles, California with her mother and eldest sister. She attended and graduated from Our Lady Queen Of Angels.
After graduation she worked for Security Pacific National Bank until she moved to Portland, Oregon where she continued her banking career at The Bank Of California. She married Jose "Ramon" R. Reyes in April of 1979. They had two children. She briefly moved backed to Los Angeles where she attended and graduated from Bravo Medical School and received her certificate in medical assistance. Shortly after she returned to Portland where she would reside the remainder of her life.
Rosalinda was a doting mother and grandmother and dedicated her life to not only her children and grandchildren but she cared for all of her nieces & nephews. She was a devoted Catholic and attended mass regularly. She was a music enthusiast, especially of the Motown era. The Supremes were one of her all time favorite groups. She enjoyed dancing (and took every opportunity to show her skills), reading, traveling, baking, cooking and watching soap operas. She also had a passion for sewing and will be remembered fondly for all beautiful items she sewed and made for her family members. Her kindness & beautiful personality will be missed dearly by everyone that came in contact with.
She is proceeded in death by her father Hilario Ancira, her mother Antoñia Gomez, and her brother Hilario Ancira Jr. She is survived by her husband Jose R. Reyes, her children Leticia Reyes and Fernando Reyes, grandchildren Carmen Reyes, Angel Reyes, and Dominic Reyes. Her siblings Abundia Ancira, Sandra Salas (Richard), and Joseph Quiroga. And her countless of nieces and nephews.
