

Shirley Ann Zschoche passed away on August 14th at home. Shirley was born on May 3, 1935 in Sioux City, Iowa to Charles and Zeta Taylor. Shirley met Richard Zschoche while in high school. They were high school sweethearts and were married on February 22, 1952. In 1955 they moved to Portland, Oregon. Richard was the love of Shirley's life until she passed. Shirley loved her family and was very active at church and sang in the choir for 40+ years. She loved the Lord and her faith was very strong. When Shirley was not raising her family, she was an active volunteer with the Cedar Mill Library and sang with Lutheran Chorale for about 10 years.
Shirley loved her family and loved being with babies. She spent most of her time with family. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband, Richard Zschoche of Portland, Oregon, sons, Ronald (Julie) Zschoche of Battleground, Washington, Donald Zschoche of Beaverton, Oregon, Rick Zschoche of Gearhart, Oregon, Bob ( Melinda) Zschoche of Bend, Oregon, daughter, Kathy Kerth of Beaverton, Oregon, brother Larry (Joan) Taylor of Palm Desert, California, sisters, Dorothy Hummel of Poway, California, Donna (Marvin) Guillaume of Hemet, California, Darlene Carmen of Edmond, Oklahoma, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
