Sidney Charles Moon was born June 19, 1919 in Riverside, Ca. to Sidney and Genevieve Moon. He married Mary Jane Vanderhoof, and the couple raised their five children together. They were also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sid was very active with the Masons for the majority of his life.
Sid passed away June 22, 2012 in Portland, Or. A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm, Monday, July 2, 2012 in Willamette National Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Monday, July 2, from 10:00am to 2:00pm in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Guests are asked to gather at Lincoln Memorial by 2:00pm for the service.
Sid is survived by his children, K.C. Moon, Mike McNerney, Sydne Tucker-Vivian, Kathy Kolb and Patty Ruthier, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane.
