Mrs. Somsy Meksavanh was born on September 3, 1934 in the ancient capital of Luangprabang in northern Laos; one of 3 siblings of Mr. Phoumy and Mrs. Somdy.
She passed away at age 89 in Beaverton, Oregon, on September 19, 2023 with her family by her side.
She is survived by her eight children, ten grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren whom she helped raise. Mrs. Somsy loved and cherished them all.
