

SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. - "Sue" Magee, a long-time Keizer resident until 2009, died due to respiratory failure at the age of 82 years on September 11th in Scottsdale Arizona.
Sue was born March 20, 1929 in Mountain Grove MO, sole daughter of Chapman and Mayme Gobble. She became the war bride of James MaGee on April 1, 1945 in Klamath Falls OR and retired from the US Bank after more than 20 years as the Keizer OR branch Customer Service Representative.
Sue is survived by daughter Joy Griffin of Phoenix AZ, grandson Gene Griffin of Alexandria VA, grandson Jeff Griffin of Shawnee KS, granddaughter Kelly Black of Lebanon OR, granddaughter Robin Bass of Stafford VA, as well as eleven great-grandchildren. Sue is predeceased by and is now gloriously residing in Heaven with her husband of 62 years, James Noel MaGee, a retiree of the Oregon Highway Department, and by her young daughter Gay Irene MaGee who died in 1953 at the age of three.
Grave-side services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 21st where Sue will be interned with her husband at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 Mount Scott Blvd, Portland OR 97086. Services will be hosted by Sue's Son-in-Law, Guy Griffin of Phoenix AZ with special music performed by his brother James Griffin of Albany OR.
