Sue Jane Sharpe

Sue was born September 16, 1931 on the Scott family farm near Whitesboro, Texas, where her mother died from complications of childbirth. The Great Depression years brought many hardships to families, and she was adopted by John Willard Dean and his wife in Wichita Falls, Texas. She attended schools there and married after high school.

In her later years, Sue lived in Estacada, Oregon where she was known for her kindness to ducks and geese that she loved to feed daily. She was also a member of the local Garden Club and loved gardening.

She is survived by two sons, John in Cadiz, Ohio and David in Nahariya, Israel. Also surviving are numerous grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to be made in her memory to Ducks Unlimited.

A private burial has been arranged according to family wishes.
