Susan Choy Lee

Charles and Susan had children, Charles, Jr., Kevin, Randy, and Charlene. They were also blessed with one grandson, Jason.

Susan was a dedicated spouse, mother, and grandmother. She and Charles worked hard to provide their children and grandson with many opportunities; which included boy and girl scouts, music lessons, gymnastics, and dance lessons.

Susan enjoyed many activities. She loved taking classes to learn new skills pertinent to her various interests. She learned cake baking and decorating, furniture upholstery, ceramic painting, sewing, dancing, knitting, and arts and crafts. She enjoyed throwing big banquet celebrations for her family and friends on anniversaries and birthdays.

Susan was also just a really good human being. She and Charles were supporters and advocates of their communities; and helped sponsor families from China, providing assistance as they acclimatized to living in the United States. She was happy to help anyone in need, and would immediately take action to fix something if she saw it was broken, often having to learn a new skill in order to accomplish the task.

Susan was well-respected as an integral part of her church, and the Lee On Dong Association. Her opinion was often sought in decision-making processes by both organizations, and her advice held tremendous weight.

Susan's children remember frequently volunteering her to drive the van for their youth organization field trips, soon after she had her driver's license, resulting in new dents and scratches to explain after every trip.

Susan passed away on May 20, 2021, in Clackamas, Oregon. She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.

Susan is survived by her children, Charles, Jr. (Michelle), Kevin (Grace), Randall, and Charlene; grandson, Jason; godson, Andy; and many friends and loved ones.

Susan will be remembered as a determined, and dedicated advocate for her family, community and friends. She always wanted to share her happiness and joy with those around her.
