Thomas Lee Hicks

Tom passed away peacefully at Maryville Nursing Home, Beaverton, OR. Tom was born in Jones County, MS. He joined the army reserves and worked at Masonite for 8 years. After moving to Oregon in 1965 he worked for Tektronix for 25 years.

Tom married Anita Mayhack in 1959. Tom is survived by his wife Anita; son, Jeff Hicks; daughter, Debbie Wagner; son, David Hicks; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brothers Winfred Hicks of Natchez, MS and Roy Hicks of Laurel, MS. Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8, at 2:00pm at Holladay Park Church of God where Tom & Anita attended. They married at Holladay Park and had their 50th anniversary celebration in the same room where they had their wedding reception 55 years ago.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Holladay Park Church of God at 2120 NE Tillamook Street, Portland, OR 97212.
