Vera loved her friends and family very much. Her favorite activities were dancing, “especially with a good partner” and a sparkly dress, bowling, cards and golfing. She and her husband, Manfred, traveled extensively through the United States and abroad.
She was preceded in death by husband, Manfred, and daughter, Bonnie. She is survived by sons, Darold Carpenter, Donald Carpenter (Shari), Mark Carpenter (Anne), many wonderful Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren and Great-Great Grandchildren, members of the Leu and Lostrom families and her faithful canine companion, Toby.
Thank you to the caregivers at Regency Park, Providence Hospice and Home Instead. Special thanks to Step-daughter, Darlene Lostrom, nieces Kathi Rees, Connie Thomas and nephew Gary Berger who always brightened Vera’s day with visits and memories. A Celebration of Life will be held on what would have been her 101st birthday.
