Veronica Susan Fuentes

Veronica was born in Portland, OR on October 20, 1957. She lived in Oregon most of her life with a few years spent working in New York and traveling with the military. Veronica was all about love, a well-prepared meal, and her love for Jesus. She had steadfast devotion to her family to the end. She had a beautiful soul and unrelenting tenacity throughout her life.

She was retired from the US Air Force Reserve. Veronica was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include many loving friends and cousins, her loving partner, Dell Ballweber, her brother, Rich Buchco, her sister, Irene Miller, her dog, Sheba, her niece, Mara Buchco, her nephews, Travis Miller and Jack Buchko, and her great-nephew, Jaden Miller.

A funeral service for Veronica will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service w/ military honors at 12:00 PM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park, 6801 SW Sunset Hwy, Portland, OR 97225.
